Yeah, I know, I know... it's been two weeks since I posted last. We all know that I've gone from a three-times-weekly poster to a will-post-when-compelled-by-threat-of-violence poster. Accept this and stop STARING at me, for the love of GOD!
Want to hear about Disneyworld?
First off, completely out of order within the parameters of the vacation timeline, I have to tell you? The people in charge of the script for the bus system in the Disneyworld resorts should be replaced. By epileptic monkeys. There we were, on the bus heading for Magic Kingdom, when this recording starts up. It says (and I'm not making this up. Swear to God.) 'For the safety of you and those around you, please remain seated for the duration of your ride, and do not stand until the bus comes to a complete stop. (Okay, I'm with them on that part. Got it. Now here comes the fun part...) UNLESS YOU'RE STANDING. Then, please hold onto the overhead straps provided for your safety.
(...)
So remain seated for safety... or don't. They don't really give a fuck, either way, they just felt it necessary to play a recording that can't make up its mind about how best to NOT break your goddamned neck while on the freaking bus. I mean, really... what's the point of the recording at all? Sit down, stand up... you can do EITHER, for fuck's sake, so why tell you anything at all? Is it a liability issue? Because if it is, I can't imagine how much protection that recording is. It's like having a security guard armed with a bag of marshmallows... not doing a single bit of good, and being pretty retarded in the process.
Things just crack me up.
I have to take the boy to school and all, but wanted to get SOMETHING up here before I turned 80. I'll try and get back on to post more about the actual vacation today or tomorrow...
And we all know how THAT goes.
my little brother wants the family to go to disneyworld for his birthday............
his 21st fricken birthday, i kid you not
what a waste of space, and money
