Life is Good. Mostly.

Hey, I'm posting and it hasn't even been three weeks yet!  Do I get a cookie for this? 

Things are actually going pretty good for me right now.  Well, there's the usual family drama (Daddy's in the hospital, since he got in a fight with a tree stand while on a hunting trip.  Long story short?  The tree stand won.  Daddy got very closely acquainted with the ground following a fast drop from 20 or 30 feet.  Broken bones ensued.  It was festive.  *sighs*  Mom is Mom, Connor is busy discovering the existence of backtalk, blah blah blah), and money's a little tight (goddamned economy is a veritible SHITHOLE, I tell you.  Murder on the investments.), but on the plus side?  My grades are still A's and the someone special that I mentioned in the last post?  Is absolutely amazing.  I only met him a couple of weeks ago, of course, but we talk all the time and text and email until our fingers are nearly ready to rise up and smite us in our sleep, so we're getting to know each other at a pretty rapid pace.  He's super smart, funny, patient, kind, sensitive, strong, handsome, educated, responsible... he's all that AND the proverbial bag of chips.

No, Not Dead

Not dead... been sick for weeks and doing the 'what the FUCK has happened to my life/sanity/Valium/flamethrower?' thing.  Can you say E-coli?  Can you also say allergic reaction to medication?  Gah.  Then there's been school, family, home, blah blah blah.  The usual cavalcade of drama in an otherwise batshit crazy life.  What can I say?  It's a gift.

But on the plus side?

*insert drumroll here*

I met someone.  *smiles happily*  And no, he wasn't carrying mace and wearing protective gear of any sort while trying to hide a straightjacket behind his back.  I know, I know... I'm as surprised as you are.

More later.  Right now I have to go inhale some caffeine before I die.  DIE, I tell you.
